Today I want to talk specifically to those of you who are service-based providers, coaches and mentors.
There was a time when I was too insecure to hire a coach I considered a friend. 😱
My ego didn’t want them to judge me.
What if they have one idea of me and then I shatter it?
What if they don’t like me anymore?
Or worse yet, what if they tell my other coach friends.
So, rather than coaching myself through those ridiculous thoughts, I kept pretending everything was fine.
I would run everything by my imaginary board of directors and figured that was enough.
Funny thing? I have several of my trusted coach friends ON my imaginary board of directors.
But one day, I had an “Aha Moment.” (Hat tip, Oprah.)
If my friends – in real life or on the internet – are killing it in their businesses, then why wouldn’t I trust them to hold my hand and help me when I needed it. ⚡️
I mean, who ELSE would I want help from?
Complete strangers?
People who only show me curated pics on the internet?
Plus, I know my friends will be happy for me. I mean, they’re the ones I want to celebrate with the most.
Further, I’d rather give people I trust my monetary energy than anyone else.
I’m telling you this because you might have that feeling, too. And if you do? Let’s talk. 📞
I don’t care how messy you are behind the scenes. I don’t care if you’ve never made a dime in your work. It makes no difference to me if you’re a million dollar earner or a zero dollar earner.
But no matter what, I want to make sure you are supported. I’m cheering for you. ✨
