A few years ago, I was working with a client and I asked her to make a list of people she would like to collaborate with. I told her that even if it felt impossible to get to them, I wanted her to write it down.

We were setting intentions.

She was skeptical.

She had no idea how she could possibly get the connection.  I didn’t either.

But that wasn’t the point.

The reason I wanted her to write it down is because I knew the connection wasn’t impossible.

And I also believe in the power of the pen to the page.

When we write down an intention, it goes from being a thought rolling around in our head to an actual item on paper.

It’s laser focusing.

Move forward to two years later…

I got a note from her last night which read, “You are not going to believe whose house I just got invited to!!!”

My answer?

“Yes, I totally am.”

Are you writing down your intentions?
